Very excited about donating this piece of art ‘Matriarch With Youngsters’ to a wonderful initiative called Lessons In Conservation (LiC).
LiC was started by a group of passionate young environmentalists who realise that educating the youth about conservation and bio-diversity is an important component in saving species and habitats.
They are holding a fund raiser on the 25th August at Uplands College in White River where ‘Matriarch With Youngsters’ will be auctioned off. So if you are in the area consider supporting this important initiative.
Elephants are such caring mothers; we can always learn so much from Nature. With many children in Africa being orphaned by AIDS, other adults need to guide these children and LiC’s conservation lessons are important both from a life skills perspective and conservation perspective.
